A blog yard sale!

At one point in my life, I thought I could be a sales person and signed up to sell Premier Jewelry.  Fast forward a few months in and it just wasn't for me.  I've sold most of my jewelry from my kit, but held on to a few pieces that I didn't think I wanted to part with.  Well, now the time has come and I'm ready to see these pieces go!  And who better than to see them go to, than my bloggy friends! :)  While I was washing dishes tonight it hit me - blog yard sale, duh!  So, here I am, with a few of those pieces to see if you might be interested in these or interested in seeing what else I've got.  If you happen to be interested, just shoot me an email at ashlee.estes@topper.wku.edu or leave a comment with an email that I will be able to contact you at.

Another sewing project!

I have been without Internet pretty much ALL weekend.  Windstream had an outage in my area that took TWO days to fix.  HELLO, they should be fixing that in one hour!  Don't they know I'm an Internet-aholic?!  Anyways... it took me pretty much all day to catch up on all the blogs I read and now, since I'm caught up, I thought I'd do a little post myself.

This evening after I cooked myself a small supper {which was a package of $1.00 Pasta Sides, picture below}, I decided to embark on a little sewing. 

This stuff is Goooood.

My sewing project for the night was inspired by this keychain wallet tutorial that Whitney over at Elm Street Life made.  This is one of the sweetest blogs I follow, so it's a MUST to check out!

I love how cute this keychain wallet turned out.  It is actually really flimsy due to the el cheapo fabric I picked up at Wal-mart.  Hopefully a trip to Hobby Lobby or Hancock's Fabric store are in my future... soon :)

And well, before I go, I must leave ya'll with some cuteness.  Because what is a blog post without this little stinker's face in it!

Tshirt to Tank

You mean to tell me it's already Monday?!

I guess it is. :(  Back to the workin' grindstone.

But before I head off to work this morning, I had to come to my blog and show off my little bit of sewing time I took yesterday!

Everytime I'm browsing Pinterest, this Tshirt to Tank tutorial is always there. And I always think to myself, "Hey, I can do that!"  So yesterday I finally got to cross it off my to-do list. 

On Friday, I got a free tshirt from a local radio station, 99.1 The Hoss.  The shirt was a medium so I knew I could cut it up for this project and it not be too small.

nephew update

Another weekend come and gone.  This year is flying by!

We set up a yard sale at my Nanny's house this past week/weekend for the 400 Mile Yard Sale.

I only got to sit out with it on Saturday and roasted my little pale self.

Good thing Carter has his SPF on!

My face, arms, & tops of my thighs, whew.. they are in bad shape.

Hopefully they will be tan before I know it!

Somebody was a sleepy little boy, fighting until the end...

but sleep finally won.

Carter (my nephew, for any new readers) finally did a little bit of crawling and sitting up on his own this weekend.... and it wore him out to the point he was MAD!

I love that little mad face. :)  And I still love you Carter even though you peed plum through your diaper, down my leg, and into my flip flops... and you laughed about it!!!! Maybe we shouldn't have been dancing to "I'm Sexy and I Know It!"
